Yet, they say the best thing to say if every you are arrested is, and I quote... "It's a fair cop guv, you're too good for me".
It may make the entire court wet themselves laughing, but the poor police person who has to read it out as your statement will endure the slings and arrows of infamy.

Steve, you're hilarious! Many plaintiffs want their day in Court and so may not have a settlement offer on the table for a while!
